1 Planning
This involves scoping the project. Who will be involved, how the cuts are going to be made, looking at the company structure and making decisions about involvement, informing od21 about company strategy, planning the logistics of the project, determining how the coding will be done etc. Interviews with selected members of the organisation to determine context and to gain strategic and operational fit.

2 Communication
Explaining the diagnostic to all groups involved and getting buy-in and commitment for completing it over 5 days. Coordinators may be appointed in these sessions.

3 Completion of questionnaires
1.5 hours of electronic (or hardcopy) questionnaire completion over 5 days that guarantees confidentiality and flexibility on completion times.

4 Processing & Reports
This is done by od21 and normally completed within 3 weeks after completion of the questionnaires. This will be contracted in the planning session.

5 Feedback
Initial session with top management and subsequently with the individual groups.

6 Interventions
A myriad of options exist. This is determined after the feedback is done.

7 Monitoring progress
This refers to determining how successful the interventions are.

8 Follow-up
This can be done annually or every 18 months and can also be for selected groups.
